Privacy

• A random device id. Your browser makes it up the first time you visit. It is not tied to your name, number or email.
• Usage counts for that device: how many times you hummed today and how many songs you found this month. We use them to apply the free limits and to stop abuse.
• Pro status. Only if you buy Pro: the email you paid with and the payment reference, so we can restore Pro on another device.
• Page visit numbers. Anonymous totals of visits and pages, with no cookies and no profile of you.

Your hum is recorded only while you tap to hum. It is sent once to find a match and is not stored by us. To find the song, a recognition service (ACRCloud) listens to the clip and sends back a title. We do not keep a copy. How long ACRCloud keeps it is covered by their own policy.

If you tap the microphone in the search box, your browser's own speech service (Google in Chrome, Apple in Safari) turns your voice into text. Humeet only receives that text, searches with it, and never receives or keeps the audio. How long your browser's speech service keeps it is covered by its own policy.

Your browser keeps your Vault of found songs, your theme and sound settings, whether you have seen the microphone explanation, and your device id. Clear your browser data and all of it is gone, including your Vault.

• ACRCloud: matches your hum to a song.
• Apple (iTunes Search): provides artwork and 30 second previews. The words you type or say in search are sent to it.
• Genius: finds songs from lyric words. The words you type or say in search may be sent to it.
• Supabase: stores the usage counts and Pro status above.
• Vercel: hosts the site and measures anonymous visits.
• Paystack: processes payments if you buy Pro. We never see your card details.
• Spotify and Apple Music: we only link out to them. Opening a link is a visit to their site.

We don't sell your data, show ads, or follow you around other sites.

You can clear your browser data at any time to remove everything on your device. To ask us to delete anything we hold about your device or Pro purchase, email nnweremizudivinefortune@gmail.com.
